« OFFICIAL RECOGNITION »

Silver Billiards and FFB billiards school diplomas

Ball in Mind has earned the trust of the French Billiards Federation (FFB), a leading institution in the world of billiards. This partnership is a true acknowledgment of the software’s quality and its effectiveness in helping players learn and improve.

What this changes for the player is concrete: the figures projected onto the cloth do not come from an improvised catalogue, they follow the paths the Federation uses in its own billiards schools.

« EDUCATIONAL CONTENT APPROVED BY EXPERTS »

One of the main advantages of this collaboration is the integration of educational content from the FFB Billiards School. These exercises and training programs are designed and validated by professionals, ensuring a structured and effective learning experience for players of all levels.

The drills work on fundamentals, accuracy and consistency, and are organised by level. Every figure is scored in stars, and the paths lead up to the bronze, silver and gold award tests.

The catalogue follows the Federation's own workbooks, discipline by discipline: straight rail across its three levels, three-cushion, five-pin and balkline. Each workbook is taken figure by figure, with the exact ball positions and the expected path, rather than summarised into a handful of sample drills.

« AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CLUBS »

The partnership between Ball in Mind and the FFB also benefits affiliated clubs. By incorporating this tool into their facilities, clubs can modernize their training sessions and offer members an innovative learning experience. This contributes to attracting new players and revitalizing the practice of billiards.

An equipped club can run the same table between the billiards school, a free session and an event open to visitors. The subscription gives access to the whole of the software and its updates.

For a coach, this means a session can follow the federal programme without digging out the booklets or redrawing figures on a board. The figure of the day appears on the cloth, to scale, and the group gets on with it.

« CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT »

The collaboration with the FFB paves the way for ongoing enhancements. By working closely with coaches and billiards experts, Ball in Mind ensures it remains aligned with players’ needs and current teaching trends. New features and exercises are regularly developed to enrich the user experience.

Additions arrive through successive updates, and the content grows as more levels are covered. What is already there stays, what is missing is added, with nothing to buy again.

The bronze, silver and gold award tests are in the software too, with their official scoring. A player can therefore prepare under test conditions, as many times as they like.

For a beginner, it is the assurance of working in the right order rather than running through drills at random. For a coach, it is a shared language with the rest of the federation.
