That is exactly the spirit Ball in Mind Training Pool takes much further. Thanks to projection, the table becomes an interactive space where you can practise, take on challenges, compare your performances and, above all, play with others.

A quiet game can very quickly turn into a contest between friends. A practice session can end as an impromptu tournament. With Ball in Mind, one first score is sometimes all it takes for the whole room to want a go.

Clearing a challenge is one thing. Knowing what your score is really worth is another. Ball in Mind online challenges add that extra dimension: players can measure themselves against the others, follow the performances and try to climb the leaderboard.

The same drill can be played in different clubs, by different profiles and at different times, while keeping that one universal reflex: looking at the score to beat. It gives practice a completely different flavour. You are no longer playing only against yourself.

Somewhere, someone has done better. It is up to you to go and get them. And when a record falls, the temptation to pick the cue back up for one more attempt is never far away.

Their presence gives the project an extra dimension: Ball in Mind is not just software designed behind a screen, but a world fed by players, competitions, clubs and conversations with the people who actually play.

That closeness to the game also makes it possible to offer livelier content and to keep the experience evolving, meeting after meeting.

The All Stars section takes the idea further still. Some players from the Ball in Mind Team have their own content, challenges or worlds to discover inside the software.

The principle completely changes the relationship between the amateur player and the figures they follow in competition. It is no longer simply a matter of watching a champion play: you can take on their challenge, attempt their drill, reach their score or try to work out how they read a situation.

Watching the best is one thing. Playing on their ground is another. All Stars builds a bridge between competition, practice and entertainment.

In a club, a commercial venue or at an event, Ball in Mind can start by drawing one person to the table and end with ten more around it.

That is perhaps where this Pool version is at its strongest: it fully respects the traditional game while making the most of everything that gives English pool its charm.
