It is with immense pride and great enthusiasm that we announce the arrival of Ophélie Laval in the Ball in Mind family, as an official ambassador.
A top-level player, known for her talent, her smile and her infectious energy, Ophélie is now making her mark on the international scene in both blackball and heyball.
Her record commands respect. She became world team champion in Albi in 2022, potting the black in the deciding frame of the match, in an incredible atmosphere at the Albi exhibition centre — a huge moment for her… and for us too, since it was our very first official appearance with Ball in Mind at an event.
« A MEETING THAT MADE SENSE »
Our first real collaboration came at an event organised by Sylvie Vaquier and our patron Éric Vaquier, on an Olympic Games theme, in Selles-Saint-Denis.
Our interactive billiards system was set up there and run superbly by Ophélie, letting players discover a new way to train through billiards drills and innovative training tools.
Éric and Sylvie were the first link between Ophélie and Ball in Mind. Like us, she has deep respect for their work at the Wapiteam school and for their coaching.
Since then, we have had the pleasure of meeting again many times at FFB national tournaments, and every time Ophélie has proved as professional as she is warm, always smiling and welcoming on our stand.
